2025 Chevrolet Blazer

Performance

All models of the 2025 Blazer, except for RS, come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that produces 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque that achieves an EPA-estimated 22 mpg (city) and 29 mpg (highway), in front-wheel-drive form. All-wheel-drive models dip only slightly with 22 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. 

Optional on 3LT-and-above and standard on the RS is a 3.6-liter V-6 that makes 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The EPA estimates the naturally-aspirated V-6 will get 19 mpg (city) and 26 mpg (highway), with the city mileage dropping by only 1 mpg when buyers option AWD. Both engines use a 9-speed automatic transmission to put power to wheels.   

The front suspension features independent MacPherson struts, a hydraulic control arm ride bushing, and a hollow stabilizer bar. In the rear, there is an independent five-link arrangement with its own hollow stabilizer bar.

With the trailering package (optional on FWD and standard on AWD models), the 2.0-liter front- and all-wheel-drive models can tow up to 3,250 pounds, while the V-6-powered models can tow up to 4,500 pounds. Without the trailering package, both engines have a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds.

Exterior

The Chevrolet Blazer features LED headlights with daytime running lamps and LED taillights. The LED headlights are almost hidden as they are tucked into each corner. A two-toned black roof is optional for an even sportier appearance. New for 2025 is a Habanero Orange exterior color, and Redline Edition models are available with an Iridescent Pearl Tricoat.   

2LT and 3LT models get standard 18-inch Grazen Metallic wheels with a number of 20-inch wheels as options. RS and Premier receive standard 20-inch wheels with various optional 21-inch wheel designs available.  

Interior

The interior is nicely appointed and welcomes drivers and passengers of all sizes to get comfortable. Sliding rear seats enable extra legroom or extended cargo capacity. Behind the rear seats, the Blazer has 30.5 cu-ft of cargo capacity. When both sides of the 60/40 split rear seats are folded, the figure grows to 64.2 cu-ft. The EPA-measured total interior volume is 107.8 cu-ft.  

The RS and Premier trim levels get a heated steering wheel as standard, and both trims can also be obtained with the Enhanced Convenience Package. This luxury package includes memory settings, rear outboard heated seats, driver and front passenger ventilated seats, and a power tilting and telescoping steering column. Heated front seats are now standard on all trims across the range for 2025.  

All trims also include Active Noise Cancellation, which listens to ambient road and tire noise and produces a reverse phase sound through the speakers to help cancel it out.  

As stated before, all passengers have ample room no matter where they sit. The interior dimensions in inches are:  

• Headroom with sunroof F/R: 38 / 36.8  
• Legroom F/R: 41 / 39.6  
• Shoulder room F/R: 59.1 / 58.6  
• Hip room F/R: 55.6 / 54.2  

Technology

Standard on the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer, the Chevrolet Infotainment System includes a 10.2-inch multimedia touchscreen. Navigation is standard on RS and Premier, while optional on 3LT. A Wi-Fi hotspot is standard and can be used with an AT&T plan. A wireless charger is standard on RS and Premier and available on LT models.  

A power-programmable liftgate is available on 2LT and standard on 3LT, RS, and Premier. RS and Premier also get a hands-free liftgate. With your keys on you, simply kick your foot under the rear bumper and the tailgate will automatically open for you. Kick again to close the tailgate.  

Safety and Driver Assistance

All trim levels feature Chevy Safety Assist which includes: 

• Automatic Emergency Braking 
• Following Distance Indicator 
• Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking 
• Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning 
• IntelliBeam automatic high beams

To aid in safety for young and new drivers, the Blazer features an industry-first Buckle to Drive that mutes the audio system until front seat occupants have put their seatbelts on.
