The New 2023 GMC Canyon Mid-Size Pickup Truck

2023 GMC Canyon Trucks on a Mountain TopAfter a solid eight years for the first Canyon redesign, the all-new redesigned third-generation GMC Canyon is finally coming to the Dieffenbach GM Superstore and the rest of the country. GMC’s mid-size pickup truck is ten inches wider than the previous model with an all-new tougher appearance. That appearance is backed up by greater off-road ability, particularly in its new AT4X model with up to 10.7 inches of ground clearance.

The Canyon is available in four trim levels: Elevation, AT4, Denali, and the first-ever AT4X for the Canyon lineup. All models feature a 4-door cab and are powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-4producing 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. A Hydromatic 8-speed transmission is also standard on all models. The all-new interior has a refined and sophisticated horizontal design featuring an 11.3-inch diagonal touchscreen infotainment system powered by a Google operating system which includes Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoTM. Available features include a customizable 11-inch digital gauge cluster, a 6.3-inch head-up display, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 7-speaker Bose® Premium audio system with an external amplifier.

Ground clearance is generous for all Canyon models starting with 9.6 inches for the Elevation and reaching 10.7 inches for the AT4X. Similarly, the approach / brake-over and departure angles range from 33.3 / 20.9 / 22.3 on the Elevation to 36.9 / 24.5 / 25.0 on the AT4X. The maximum payload is 1,640 pounds and the maximum towing capacity is 7,700 pounds on all but the AT4X model. Available is an all-new MultiStowTM Tailgate storage system for increased bed functionality, and there is an amazing 10-camera- view system which includes HD Surround Vision and waterproof underbody cameras complete with a camera washing system.

GMC Canyon Safety 

All 2023 Canyon models include an array of safety and driver-assist technology features including Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking with Bicyclist Detection, a Following Distance Indicator, both Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist, as well as IntelliBeam auto high beams. Available packages include features such as Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Rear Pedestrian Alert, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
