Another number to know is your gross vehicle weight rating or GVWR. If you have that information, you can select the right tire that meets or exceeds Chevrolet’s or GMC’s recommendations for the GVWR for both front and rear wheels. 

Every Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 should have a sticker on the door sill that gives information on GVWR and tire pressures. The stickers are placed for your specific pickup truck, as specified. That information will be valuable when you are on the road towing your trailer in case of issues you might encounter.
